Only one player won the writers’ election this year for the Baseball Hall of Fame

Scott Rolen, a seven-time All-Star third baseman, performed with the Philadelphia, St. Louis, Toronto and Cincinnati groups over a 17-season profession. None of the 27 different gamers received sufficient votes.
